Communications Team

The Communications team includes professionals who offer writing, editing and proofing services for DELTA staff and the general university community. Our content creators and editors work on a wide range of projects related to the web, social media, the DELTA annual report, and internal marketing campaigns for our services. 

In addition, we create, foster and share DELTA news and stories that assist and connect faculty and staff with DELTA services and that promote information regarding DELTA Grants programs, including DELTA Faculty Fellows. We also collaborate to write stories about faculty, staff, students and alumni for their ad campaigns for recruitment purposes.

Our role within DELTA is to position our services within the university community through outreach and collaboration with other groups to promote faculty services (such as workshops, LearnTech, consultations, video services, and so on).

In addition to these services, the communications team actively engages with communications-related groups that are internal to NC State as well as groups external to the university to promote stories. The Communications team regularly consults on strategic communications and branding.

We also produce a monthly newsletter to inform the university community of DELTA news and perform maintenance and content updates to several of DELTA’s websites.
