Instructional Design Interest Group (IDIG)

Passionate about learning technologies? Interested in joining the larger learning technology community?

IDIG was created as a way to bring together faculty and staff who have an interest in the different aspects of instructional design including layouts, best practices and useful tools for learning and assessment.

Any faculty or staff from NC State University and any other higher educational institution are welcomed to join the Instructional Design Interest Group (IDIG). You are welcome to attend any IDIG meetings.

To receive email notifications about upcoming meetings, you can sign up for the IDIG Google Group.

If you have an NC State unity account:

  • Apply to join the group.
  • Once you select the link, you will see a blue button at the top of the forum posts “Join group to post.”
  • Select the “Join group to post” button.
  • This will send a notification to the group owner (Daniel Davis). They need to approve your application before you can participate in the IDIG group.
  • After you’ve joined the IDIG group, you will get a confirmation email.
