People: Stacy Somers

Biographical Info

Stacy joined DELTA in August 2019 as Business Services Accountant. She brings nearly 20 years of experience with budgeting and business management in higher education. In her role as accountant, she is primarily responsible for budget tracking, accounts receivable, purchase orders, travel, and REPORTER Business Services.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arkansas State University. She has worked in a variety of capacities at institutions of higher education such as Arkansas State University, University of South Carolina and Duke University.

Stacy enjoys photography and spending time traveling with her family, especially to the white sandy beaches in the Gulf of Mexico.
