People: Jessie Sova

Biographical Info

Jessie Sova began working for DELTA in 2014. She is the Assistant Vice Provost, Business Operations for DELTA and NC State Continuing and Lifelong Education (NCSCaLE). Jessie has spent 23 years in UNC System service as Assistant Dean for Finance for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and Director of EPA at NC State Human Resources. She was also the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Resource Management at UNCW. While at DELTA, Jessie has been involved with the relocation of DELTA, developing the business services and charge model for REPORTER, the non-credit registration enterprise for NC State, and developed business services and internal controls for the Wolfpack Investor Network (WIN) and WIN, LLC.

In her current role as Assistant Vice Provost, she provides leadership and strategic oversight for fiscal operations, human resources, business and financial planning for both DELTA and NCSCaLE divisions and REPORTER Business Services.

Jessie Sova holds multiple degrees including a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from University of South Carolina and a Master of Public Administration from NC State. She was awarded the Air Force Administrator of the Year, Air Force Commendation Medal and the Air Force Achievement Medal. Jessie is the mother of two. In her free time she enjoys riding motorcycles, reading and traveling.
