The DELTA Marketing and Communications (MarComm) department designs, implements and manages strategic online and digital marketing and communications initiatives for DELTA services, NC State online and distance education programs, and NC State Continuing and Lifelong Education (NCSCaLE). Marketing and Communications enables division(s) programs and services to reach their full potential. We drive engagement, amplify impact and connect the division(s) with key audiences, transforming futures and powering the extraordinary.

In addition, our professional staff and resources collaborate to design, implement and manage multimedia projects that support and substantiate goals for NC State’s online and education programs, NCSCaLE, and the NC State and DELTA brand.

Creative and Digital Services

We design and develop elements and visual marketing experiences for DELTA , including creating digital communication layouts and website experiences using best practices and modern technologies.

We also support visual content needs by designing or sourcing imagery, graphics, animations, videos, and other multimedia elements. Additionally, we manage the media storage and organization of creative assets for the Marketing and Communications department.

Content and Communications

We ensure that key messages about innovation, impact and engagement across our division, programs and people are effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders. 

We manage the content strategy and editorial calendar for the division, and own the voice, tone and content distribution strategies for DELTA. Content and Communications is responsible for anything written, viewed or consumed on our marketing channels.

Marketing Strategy and Operations

We are responsible for guiding our projects through the marketing and communications team while ensuring quality service, best practices in marketing and communications and measurable return on effort. We also provide guiding strategy for marketing initiatives across DELTA and NC State Online.

We provide consultative services for how to tackle or approach marketing and communications challenges, needs, and goals rooted in marketing best practices.
