Bethanne TobeyLead Instructional Designer Academic Technology Innovation
Bethanne Tobey is a Lead Instructional Designer and Quality Matters Coordinator with Distance Education and Learning Technology Applications (DELTA) at NC State. She provides leadership in instructional design and project management for assigned course production projects, instructional programs, instructional tools and templates, and other educationally-focused production efforts. Bethanne partners with other production colleagues and development teams within DELTA in researching, brainstorming, developing, implementing and evaluating innovative and pedagogically sound solutions for addressing instructional challenges.
Bethanne started working for DELTA in 2014. She previously taught Science at a Middle School for 6 years, and then served as an Instructional Technologist and Coordinator for the Center for Teaching Excellence at Cape Fear Community College. Bethanne has a Bachelor of Arts in Parks and Recreation Natural Resource Management, a Teaching Licensure for Middle Grades 6-8, and a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from University of North Carolina Wilmington.
