New Process to Schedule DELTA Facilities

DELTA has been working diligently to centralize the scheduling of all DELTA facilities and support, and a solution is finally here.

We are introducing the ServiceNow DELTA Reservation Form, where you can book DELTA classrooms, book DELTA mini studios, and request support for institutional collaboration and video conferencing.

All requests will be filtered through the form, promoting transparency, record-keeping and collaboration. The form will act as a one-stop-shop for those looking to use DELTA facilities and become a point of reference for those seeking details about their booked session.

Mainstreaming the reservation process allows faculty to select various reservation types: semester-long reservations, ad-hocs and multiple-session reservations, in one location. Semester-long reservations are regularly scheduled courses that will take place throughout a given semester. Ad-hoc reservations are one-time sessions. Multiple-session reservations are reservations carried out over multiple days and times, but do not extend throughout an entire semester.

Our reservation form is easily accessible on a mobile device via QR code, located on digital signage outside of DELTA classrooms. The form’s easy-to-understand format makes it user-friendly and mobile-device compatible. Faculty can request a DELTA space at a moment’s notice from anywhere.

As a means to continuously grow and improve, DELTA will ask faculty to complete the DELTA Reservation Form Feedback Survey, created by Britnique Hodge.

DELTA Scheduling SOP and Classroom Use SOP will be available on the DELTA website under External SOPs. The Scheduling SOP highlights DELTA scheduling procedures and the Classroom Use SOP specifies classroom use policies. Combining these resources, faculty will develop a true understanding of the services DELTA provides and the proper way to utilize DELTA facilities.
