Prerecord Your Course Content Ahead of the Fall Semester

DELTA Classroom with red rows of seats and a computer podium.
Sign up to record core course content in a DELTA Classroom, studio or ministudio this summer and receive support from DELTA staff, or start recording from home with off-campus options.

Classrooms are inevitably going to look a bit different this fall due to the ongoing effects of COVID-19. Even if your classes are in-person, hybrid or online, it’s important to have your course content recorded and handy in case of an emergency.

To take a little stress off yourself this fall, record your core course content now. You can record lectures, simple lab instructional videos, and even physical health and exercise activities.

Imagine the relief knowing your core concepts are already recorded as you step into a classroom this fall, especially if you are brand new to classroom recording. You can use your class time to reinforce particular topics and engage students in discussions.

There are many options available to you to get your classroom recordings done this summer.

DELTA supports classrooms, studios and ministudios with recording capabilities. When you record in a DELTA-supported space, disinfecting wipes will be available to clean microphones and other recording equipment before and after each use. DELTA staff members will also be onsite to assist with recording. Request a slot before they’re full.

If you’re not able to make it to campus this summer, you can still record your course content from your own computer. Tools such as Zoom and My Mediasite are great for recording lectures.

Here’s a list of recording options:
