Cross Collaboration Tackles Microaggressions

At NC State, DELTA’s Instructional Media Production team collaborated with a faculty member and her graduate students within the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and with Arts NC State to tackle the ongoing challenge of addressing microaggressions. DELTA created a series of videos recreating real-life examples of microaggressions on campus.

Recently DELTA attended HOW Design Live, a conference that focuses on refueling passion for work while also combining practical knowledge needed to achieve and advance in your own career. Topics included giving and receiving beneficial critique, how to replenish your creativity and the idea of presence.

Robinson Recognized as Finalist for Enterprise Video Awards

DELTA’s Mobile Media Producer Jeff Robinson was recently recognized as a finalist in the 2017 Enterprise Video Awards hosted by the Sonic Foundry Mediasite Conference titled Unleash17. Robinson worked with Mediasite Video Platform to show three different views of the interferometer used in labs at NC State.

New CTI Nameplates Utilize Latest Technology

DELTA staff members recently received a modifiable tablet nameplate outside of their office space in the Center for Technology and Innovation. The nameplates allow DELTA staff members to set a status on the tablet including free, busy, in a meeting, on a lunch break or available for questions.
