LCR Pilot Grants
DELTA is providing assistance to support faculty committed to redesigning large-enrollment, multi-section courses using technology-supported, active learning strategies. Large Course Redesign (LCR) is an initiative to rethink and rebuild the delivery of large-enrollment, introductory courses to improve student learning outcomes and reduce instructional costs by incorporating instructional technology.
The DELTA LCR Pilot Grant is a competitive award program that promotes the redesign of a whole course by reconceiving instructional strategies to improve student learning and help achieve the proposed Student Success Initiative at North Carolina State University. DELTA LCR Pilot Grants will offer both monetary and staff resources. DELTA staff time will be determined upon meeting with the stakeholders to assess course needs. Through the DELTA LCR Pilot Grants, we seek to help your team achieve the redesign of whole courses by focusing on at least two or more of the following objectives:

- Download the 2008-2009 DELTA Large Course Redesign (LCR) Pilot Grants RFP. The 2008-2009 RFP will be available in May 2008.
- Sign up for a consult
- Schedule a consultation where you can discuss your proposal with appropriate DELTA staff. Schedule a consultation by writing to Traci Temple. Consultations must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance.
- Submit a proposal
- The deadline for submitting proposals is July 1, 2008.
