Natural Learning Initiative Takes Education Outdoors with WolfWare Outreach

The Natural Learning Initiative offers two asynchronous certificate programs for professional development in WolfWare Outreach. The certificate programs are tailored to early childhood and landscape design professionals who want to improve children's outdoor learning environments.

Highlights from the First MoodleMoot Global Event

WolfWare Coordinator Marty Dulberg presented at the MoodleMoot Global and attended the Open EdTech conference both held the week of Nov. 18 in Barcelona, Spain. Dulberg gathered key takeaways from the conferences as well as a few insights into the future of open educational technology.

Internal Training Service Creates New Opportunities

WolfWare Internal Training and Development launched in 2017 to support departments, faculty and staff in developing and maintaining online, non-credit, no-fee courses and trainings using a project space in WolfWare. In FY 18-19, the team worked with 11 departments and divisions on campus to create a variety of trainings, courses and projects.

Moodle Feature Allows Student Access Beyond Semester Dates

NC State instructors can now allow specific students to access their Moodle courses outside of the normal semester availability dates by requesting a special role for the student called "Extended Access." This role can be used to resolve incomplete grades.
