Digitizing Textiles: Smooth as Silk?

DELTA and the Wilson College of Textiles collaborate on a virtual reality solution to fabric exploration using cutting edge technology such as the Virtual Viewer, Pico Neo3 VR headset and Ultraleap. They developed an app that paves the way for future work with fabric simulation.

DELTA VR Tours Complement College of Design’s 75th Anniversary Celebration

DELTA and the College of Design teamed up to create virtual tours of the entire building to showcase the current facilities and projects students are working on this year. These tours are being used to engage with alumni as part of the yearlong 75th anniversary celebration as well as for recruitment and admissions promotions.

How We Think Before We Do: DELTA Explores Sound Design for Immersive Ed

At DELTA, we are constantly exploring, researching and testing the latest in immersive technology and its role in teaching and learning. We want to share what we've learned along the way.

DELTA staffers are leading a session at SXSW EDU on March 11! Cathi Dunnagan, Rich Gurnsey and Ben Huckaby will be giving examples and challenging attendees to brainstorm how they would solve instructional challenges with the use of virtual and augmented reality.
