Darren Ley is a behind-the-scenes magician. Ley has worked full time for NC State since 1995 and part time between 1988 and 1993. Over the years, his department and job title have changed and his services and skills have evolved, but Ley remains a constant.
Cross Collaboration Tackles Microaggressions
At NC State, DELTA’s Instructional Media Production team collaborated with a faculty member and her graduate students within the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and with Arts NC State to tackle the ongoing challenge of addressing microaggressions. DELTA created a series of videos recreating real-life examples of microaggressions on campus.

A new monthly feature will unveil the life of DELTA staff in their day-to-day work routines and their interests outside of the workplace. This month's feature is Arthur Earnest, a video producer who began at DELTA in 2008, an NC State alumnus who graduated with a degree in sociology and a minor in film studies.
A Work in Progress: Course Redesign for CE 332
In the Civil Engineering Materials of Construction (CE 332) course, a team of DELTA staff members are working with Dr. Cassie Castorena and Dr. Rudi Seracino on a Critical Path Course Redesign Grant, a required course for students in the major to complete.
DELTA Team to Present VR Workshop at SXSWedu
DELTA’s own Cathi Dunnagan, Mike Cuales and Bethanne Tobey will facilitate a workshop. Combining their expertise and background knowledge in instructional design, media production and teaching, the trio will inform others on virtual reality (VR) through Design Your Own VR Experience for EDU.
