DELTA-Con 2023 Set for May 9
Preparations are underway for the 7th annual DELTA-Con, NC State’s unconference experience, scheduled for Wednesday, May 9 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. This day-long experience allows faculty, staff and graduate students from area higher education institutions to share their knowledge, expertise, and best practices on a wide variety of topics.
Collaborating on Faculty Excellence
The inaugural Conference on Faculty Excellence, with the theme of “Stronger Together: Collaborating for Faculty Excellence,” brought together more than 150 faculty, staff and students from across NC State and other area colleges and universities.
Reflecting on UNC CAUSE 2022
The UNC Cause conference returned to an in-person event for the first time since 2019. It was held in Charlotte, NC and 14 DELTA staff members were in attendance. Additionally, eight of the presentations were led by DELTA staff in conjunction with other members of the NC State community.
VCS Team Pivots to Provide Support for Online International Conference
DELTA Video Communications Services professionals (VCS) successfully orchestrated the flow of information during the online 11th International Workshop on Microplasmas conference. The conference delivered content to more than 200 participants over the course of four days in June and the VCS team recorded and edited 36 presentation videos.
Course Design with Accessibility in Mind
Lead Instructional Designer Caitlin McKeown presented at the Join the Journey: 2022 Digital Accessibility Conference offering tips on accessible course design. She shared her expertise on best practices for making all course content available to all students.
Interactive DELTA-Con Offers Hybrid Format
DELTA-Con will kick off on April 27, 2022. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the future of higher education and discover innovative ways to incorporate online learning in the classroom over the duration of NC State's unoffical unconference.
