Academic Video Online (Alexander Street) from the NC State Libraries is now integrated with PlayPosit, enabling instructors to add discussion prompts, multiple-choice questions, polls and open-ended questions to videos. Instructors can also monitor student responses and ensure they watch the videos. There’s a diverse collection of videos, including newsreels, documentaries, feature-length films, interviews, training videos, lectures, demonstrations and more. Instructors can use the entire video or create clips and add interactions for more engagement. Watch this video to see the interactivity and contact learntech@ncsu.edu for ideas on using interactive video in your courses.
