Are you looking for assistance in improving your students’ success? Wanting to enhance your teaching methods and technology? As the middle of the semester approaches, instructors and students continue to rely on digital education resources throughout the pandemic.

DELTA is here to support the creation and delivery of online course content by offering faculty and staff tools and resources ranging from the Knowledge Base, the LearnTech YouTube Channel, instructional consultations and more. We strive to collaborate with instructors to better understand how we can support their digital teaching.

LearnTech Help Desk

As NC State continues to navigate remote and hybrid learning, faculty and staff are adapting to instructional technologies that may still remain unfamiliar to them and their students. The LearnTech Help Desk is dedicated to serving faculty, staff and graduate students with advice and problem support to relieve the stress of ambiguity.

Users can choose to request assistance from the Help Desk via a help call to 919.513.7094, email to learntech@ncsu.edu or submitting an online form outlining what their issue is.

Knowledge Base

In addition to providing support through the Help Desk, LearnTech’s Knowledge Base is a valuable resource for faculty and staff looking for guidance using instructional technologies at NC State.

The website includes detailed step-by-step instructions for platforms used by NC State such as Moodle, Panopto, Top Hat, Wolfware, PlayPosit and Zoom. Each tool is broken down by its most commonly used features, and subheadings outline how to effectively utilize them.

Workshops

Designed to provide in-depth training for faculty, staff and graduate teaching assistants, workshops are free and offered both synchronously and asynchronously, giving users the option of learning how to increase their students’ success conveniently. A wide variety of trainings are made available to serve your instructional needs through tools, tips and tricks for effective teaching and enhancing your instructional platforms.

Instructional Consultations

DELTA understands some needs may go beyond the workshops we offer, which is why instructional consultations are available for instructors who require one-on-one assistance with their needs. Consultations are scheduled for an hour via Zoom for faculty and staff to brainstorm ideas and gain help beyond workshops offered through DELTA.

DELTA is dedicated to students’ success at NC State and assisting instructors in ensuring this is achieved through their digital learning experiences. In order to help NC State ‘Think and Do,’ we’re here to provide resources.
