Here at NC State, our motto is to Think and Do. And trust us — we do a lot of thinking and a lot of doing.

But what does that thinking part look like before we put it into action? At DELTA, we are constantly exploring, researching and testing the latest in immersive technology and its role in teaching and learning.

We’re starting a new series — DELTA Explores — to put some of our thoughts out into the world and to share with others what we’ve learned along the way.

In our first of (hopefully) many blogs, tips and tricks related to immersive tech, Justin Kuhn shares a case study of designing sound for immersive education. Kuhn is an immersive media support specialist at DELTA and uses his expertise in sound, video and graphics to help people learn, communicate and organize.

Read Kuhn’s full blog for a look into how he used sound for information, interactivity and immersion and feel free to share your thoughts with us.

We’d love to connect with you on Twitter at @NCStateDELTA or by email at delta-communications@ncsu.edu.
