DELTA’s Department of Computer Science Alumni Find Growth and Community at NC State

New Cohort of Faculty Dedicated to Online Course Improvement

A new Online Course Improvement Program (OCIP) faculty cohort will work to make improvements to their online courses to meet the nationally recognized standards of the Quality Matters organization. In its fourth cohort, OCIP is a testament to NC State’s commitment to providing quality teaching and learning.

DELTA is excited to collaborate with a new round of faculty partners on 22 new and four continuing DELTA Grants. We’re also adding one new DELTA Faculty Fellow to our four continuing fellows. We look forward to working with our faculty partners to create opportunities for student success.

DELTA, Libraries and NC State Stores Partner with OpenStax to Increase Use of Free, Peer-Reviewed Textbooks

NC State University has been chosen to participate in the 2019-2020 OpenStax Institutional Partnership Program to encourage the use of free, peer-reviewed textbooks on campus. The Libraries, DELTA, and the NC State Stores will be partnering in this program.

Mediasite Plug-In for Moodle Available

Mediasite has been a valuable tool at NC State University for faculty to record their lecture content and to enhance students’ learning experiences whether it’s face-to-face, fully online or blended learning environments. With Moodle Mediasite integration, faculty can easily create, manage, and share their presentations directly through Moodle. Check out what this integration does and how…

Class Piano Goes Digital

Through a DELTA Grant, a team of staff members partnered with Associate Teaching Professor Olga Kleiankina from the Department of Music to transform MUS 107: Class Piano I by creating an interactive web book to replace the standard method book.

A Year in Review: How DELTA Implements and Supports NC State’s Learning Technologies

DELTA’s Educational Technology Services (ETS) team is the powerhouse behind NC State’s academic learning technologies. From keeping WolfWare up and running to creating new tools, the ETS team ensures NC State faculty, staff and students always have secure, reliable and updated learning technologies.

A new Inside DELTA highlighting the life of DELTA Staff in their day-to-day work routines and life outside of the workplace. Rebecca Sanchez is an instructional designer and will soon celebrate her two-year anniversary at DELTA. Outside of work she loves to explore new places and hobbies.
