Appointment-Only Testing Begins at DELTA Spring 2019(Archive)

Important changes and reminders for faculty and students who use DELTA Testing Services

Effective at the start of the spring 2019 semester, all testing will be by appointment only. Students will need to schedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance at go.ncsu.edu/takemytest.

Faculty who use DELTA Testing Services should update their syllabus statement to alert students of the change. View a suggested statement to add to your syllabus.

In addition, faculty may enable the DELTA Testing Moodle Block in their courses, which will update after final exams to reflect appointment-only testing beginning in the spring 2019 semester. The DELTA Testing Moodle Block provides students with direct access to the official DELTA Testing Services website for information about hours, parking, guidelines and more.

Deadlines to Request/Renew Proctoring Service

To receive proctoring for your class, faculty must request or renew services each semester.

Fill out a new course information form with your exam information for each class you are teaching by Jan. 11, 2019. Submit each class only once. To make changes after submitting the form, please contact DELTA Testing Services.

Reminders:

  • Study space is no longer available at the Centennial Campus Test Center. Please encourage students to complete their studying elsewhere prior to arriving for their exam. Read the DELTA News article and visit go.ncsu.edu/studyspace for more information.
  • See our Best Practices for exam guidelines and suggested information for students.
  • Encourage students to sign up for Remind.com messages to have specific information related to DELTA Testing Services sent directly to a designated email or mobile phone.
