After receiving Awards for Excellence from the Office of the Executive Chancellor and Provost, Lead Technology Support Technician Emanuel Brunson and Senior Associate Director of Applications Development Jeff Webster were honored as nominees for the university-level award at a ceremony held June 11, 2018, in Hunt Library.
Brunson and Webster were among 46 staff members from across the university nominated for NC State University Awards for Excellence. During the ceremony, all 46 nominees were recognized for their outstanding service to their unit or college.
Webster was one of 12 from the 46 nominees who won an Award for Excellence, the most prestigious honor bestowed upon non-faculty employees.
Winning in the customer service category, Webster received an additional eight hours of paid time off, a cash-award for $1,000, and an engraved plaque.
Webster was nominated by Director of Educational Technology Services Lou Harrison for leading the way for new innovations while focusing on customer experiences. Webster was part of the four-person team that created WolfWare and has been integral in moving through multiple iterations of Moodle.
Webster’s active leadership has helped DELTA move forward in collaborative and innovative ways. Congrats!
