Virtualizing Organic Chemistry Labs

Through an exploratory grant, DELTA teamed up with Maria Gallardo-Williams to create five virtual reality organic chemistry lab experiences. The student-focused and inclusive experience immerses users into the lab.

Mike Ortosky is pursuing his online Doctor of Design degree at NC State Design with the intention of reimagining a sustainable food system to benefit the health of the environment, economy, and North Carolina communities and beyond.

EDUCAUSE Annual Conference 2018 Highlights

NC State University was well represented at the 2018 EDUCAUSE Annual Conference held Oct. 30 - Nov. 2, 2018, in Denver, Colorado. Eleven DELTA staff members attended the conference and shared back their key takeaways.

First in Quality Matters at NC State

Appointment-Only Testing Begins at DELTA Spring 2019(Archive)

Beginning spring 2019, all testing at the DELTA Test Centers will be by appointment only. Faculty who use DELTA Testing Services should update their syllabus statement to alert students of the change. As a reminder, student study space is no longer available at the Centennial Campus Test Center.

Inside DELTA: 5 Questions with Steve Bader

A new Inside DELTA highlighting the life of DELTA staff in their day-to-day work routines and life outside of the workplace. Steve Bader is a PHP web developer and Moodle lead focusing on maintaining and improving open-source applications. Outside of work, his spare time is filled with family and hockey.

Takeaways from Engage 2018

The 2nd annual Engage conference was held in Chicago in late October 2018. Yiling Chappelow, Stacy Gant, Lou Harrison and David Howard attended the conference to learn more about the Top Hat platform, meet users and Top Hat executives, and hear about the future direction of the company and their software.

DELTA Testing Services Alerts Faculty to Changes at the Centennial Campus Test Center

If you are a user of the Centennial Campus Test Center, please be advised of recent changes. Due to an increased demand for testing services, there is no longer study space available in the Centennial Campus Test Center located in Venture IV. We encourage faculty to remind students to complete their studying elsewhere prior to arriving for their test.
