The Instructional Technology Training Team in DELTA participated in an online training course delivered by Quality Matters (QM) on Applying the Quality Matters Rubric. Quality Matters is a nationally recognized program that assists in guiding faculty through the process of creating a high-quality online course.

A Work in Progress: Animal Nutrition for Companion Pets

DELTA worked with Teaching Assistant Professor Kimberly Ange-van Heugten on a Distance Education Course Grant to create a new course focused on animal nutrition for canines and felines. Students will use the various deliverables from DELTA to create a simulation of a specialized cat or dog food for their final project.

Cross Collaboration Tackles Microaggressions

At NC State, DELTA’s Instructional Media Production team collaborated with a faculty member and her graduate students within the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and with Arts NC State to tackle the ongoing challenge of addressing microaggressions. DELTA created a series of videos recreating real-life examples of microaggressions on campus.
