Spark New Ideas: Register for Summer Shorts 2016(Archive)

Spark new ideas by attending DELTA’s annual series of workshops called Summer Shorts in Instructional Technologies.

Summer Shorts will take place Tuesday, August 9 through Friday, August 12, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in both face-to-face and online sessions. In addition, our popular open lab day staffed with DELTA personnel is available to assist you pull together what you learn during the week.

Session Tracks

Through collaborative efforts across DELTA and our campus partners, this year’s Summer Shorts will offer three tracks: video production, innovative instruction and teaching online.

Register for as many or as few sessions as you like. We do, however, recommend attending as many sessions as possible in the track you feel best meets your instructional needs.

Registration

Registration is mandatory for all sessions, except the open labs. We encourage you to sign up now to secure your spot as space is limited. NC State faculty, staff and graduate students are all welcome to participate in DELTA’s Summer Shorts Program.

Lunch: On Tuesday and Wednesday, we are hosting faculty-led panels over the lunch hour with boxed lunches provided at no cost. Break service is also available both days on site in DH Hill Library.
