Video Production Services

VCS provides video production services to university- and state-affiliated organizations. Initial consulting services are free, but subsequent services are on a fee-for-service basis. (See VCS rate schedule.)

Producer/director planning services

VCS provides experienced television producer/directors to assist and plan any kind of video production. Services include scriptwriting, instructional design, graphic design, and all other elements of television production. We specialize in turn-key production. Our associates have extensive broadcast experience in complex live productions as well as in directing talent in scripted productions.

Video editing services

VCS staff provide editing services to connect various video elements into finished programs or program segments. Our editing processes can include most digital effects, graphic inserts, and multiple channel audio mixing. The flexibility of online quality non-linear editing allows us to make changes quickly, without requiring us to re-edit the other program elements before or after the change.

Field shooting and production

VCS staff have the necessary lighting and audio equipment to shoot high-quality video productions in remote locations using DVCPRO, Betacam SP, or mini DV recording formats. A teleprompter is available for field shoots. Staff provide both videorecording and editing services. Scan converters are used to record computer outputs, and special equipment is available for shooting computer screens with no flicker. Our staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we use professional video contractors to assist in complex shoots.
