DELTA Video Communication Services

Videoconferencing

Video Communication Services staff facilitate videoconferencing (two-way video interaction with participants at remote sites) for NC State faculty and staff. Videoconferencing participants interact with other off-campus sites and view them on large TV monitors. Videoconferencing is used for research collaborations, tutorials, and project planning sessions.

VCS staff help participants incorporate overheads, computer graphics, slides, and videotapes into the two-way communication. We can connect to all of the UNC system universities’ sites statewide via NCREN New Window as well as to any community college or state agency that is connected to the North Carolina Information Highway (NCIH New Window). We can accommodate videoconferences with companies and universities worldwide via our connection with NCREN or our own H.323 MCU (multipoint conference unit). Please contact us for additional details.
