Custom Workshops
In addition to our regularly scheduled workshops, we can also provide customized training within the DELTA supported toolset for faculty, staff, and graduate students engaged in online instruction at no charge to you. We can work with you to provide a single workshop or a series of workshops customized to meet the needs of your group. We can schedule time for you in the ITTC labs in the library, or our staff can come to your location. All customized training includes a needs assessment, the training itself, and follow-up with all participants.
Topics include: Accessibility, Instructional Uses of Technology, Graphics & Multimedia, Learning Management Systems, Web Design & Development, and more.
The following criteria should be met for those interested in customized training:
- You must be a group of instructional faculty and the staff and/or graduate students working with that faculty.
- A minimum number of 3 participants is required for customized training services. If just one or two people need assistance, then utilize our instructional house call service
Keep in mind that we will need a longer lead time when requests are made for a series of workshops as opposed to one or two workshops. We are limited in the number of customized workshop hours that we can offer in any given semester; thus the earlier you contact us, the better!
