Solution Summary:

Downloaded .jnlp file is not automatically launched.

Full Solution:

Problem: Nothing happens when I try to connect to a Blackboard Collaborate session and/or I am taken to a list of all sessions. Solution: When you launch a session, your browser downloads and runs a file. Depending on the browser you use and how it handles downloads, this file might run automatically, or you might have to launch it yourself by double-clicking it. Check your downloaded files and look for a file with a .jnlp extension. If you're using Internet Explorer, see Blackboard s Knowledge Base at http://support.blackboardcollaborate.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=8336&task=knowledge&questionID=1892, and if you're using Google Chrome, see http://support.blackboardcollaborate.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=8336&task=knowledge&questionID=1891.
