Problem:
My Mediasite presentation isn't loading. There's no error message and the
presentation doesn't appear. What's wrong?
Solution:
Mediasite presentations open in their own window, and can occasionally be
blocked by a web browser's pop-up blocker.
To see the presentation, try disabling your pop-up blocker. You can disable it
by following these browser-specific steps. Remember to turn it back on when
you're done viewing your Mediasite presentations.
In Internet Explorer:
1. Go to the Tools menu or find the gear icon in the top right-hand corner of
the browser, and select Internet Options.
2. Go to the Privacy tab and uncheck the pop-up blocker.
3. Click Close, and then click OK to save your settings.
In Firefox:
1. Click on the Firefox menu in the top left-hand corner.
2. Find the Options menu and click Options again.
3. Click the Content menu and uncheck Block pop-up windows.
4. Click OK to save your changes.
In Chrome:
1. Click the wrench icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
2. Click Settings and at the bottom Show advanced settings.
3. Find the Privacy heading and click on Content settings.
4. Under the pop-ups section select Allow all sites to show pop-ups and click
Ok.
Mobile Devices:
Mediasite playback works on devices such as iPads, iPhones, Blackberry, and
Android. Make sure your devices meet the playback requirements for mobile
platforms at http://delta.ncsu.edu/get_help/faq/solution.php?solution=4351
To watch on your iPhone, or iPod, you will need to download the Mediasite Mobile
App from the Apple AppStore.
