Question: How can I find out if the Vista server will be down for maintenance? Answer: We communicate the announcements of server maintenance windows in two ways. First, we let all users currently logged into Vista know through the use of Campus Announcements. When there is an upcoming maintenance window, a pop-up message will greet you as you login to Vista letting you know about it. These messages are also displayed underneath your course list in the My Courses page. Secondly, on the Vista homepage (http://vista.ncsu.edu/) the "Announcements" box in the lower-left corner will have information regarding any upcoming server maintenance windows.
