Problem:
How do I randomize the delivery of questions in an assessment in Vista?
Solution:
You can utilize what is known as "Question Sets" to ensure complete
randomizing of your assessments. Here's how:
1. In the Assessment creation interface (the place where you add questions)
click on "Add to Assessment" and then "Question Set" (in the
top-left hand corner of the page)
2. Click the button called "Create question" to produce as many new
questions as you would like.
3. Once you have all of your questions created, you can switch to
"Question View" (at the top right of the table) and select all of the
questions you would like to be randomly delivered. This could also include
questions from other assessments of course. Click on "Add Selected"
(at the bottom left of the table).
4. In the question view of the assessment, change the drop down menu to
reflect the number of questions you are randomizing. For example, if you are
randomizing 10 questions, change the drop-down menu to 10.
