How do I familiarize my students with Vista?
Solution:
The Vista Student Orientation Learning Module can be used to teach your
students how to use Vista. To add it to your section, following the steps below:
1. From the "Build" tab, click on "Manage Course" in your
Designer Menu.
2. Click on the link for "Import" - this will bring up the Vista file
browser.
3. Click on the "Repository" icon on the left-hand side.
4. Click on the link for "NCSU," and then click "Instructor
Resources."
5. Select "Student_Orientation_Module.zip" and click OK. Once the
import is complete, click the "Return" button.
6. To add the module, click on "Course Content," and then click the
"Add Content Link" button.
7. Select "Learning Module," and then select "Student
Orientation to Vista."
8. Click the "Add Selected" button, and the orientation module has
been added to your course.
NOTE: You must have added the "Learning Modules" tool to your course
site in order for it to appear under the "Add Content Link" menu. If
you have not done so, click on "Manage Course," and then click on the
"Tools" link.
