I know I am enrolled in my class, but WolfWare says that I am not.

Return to FAQs

Solution Summary:

Ask your instructor to add you as an "extra" in the class while waiting for Reg & Rec to pass the correct enrollment data.

Full Solution:

Problem: I have just signed up for a class. I know that I am enrolled, but WolfWare says that I am not. Solution: WolfWare receives new enrollment data from Registration and Records once every morning. Enrollment changes like adding or dropping a class, changing sections, or changing your student ID number typically take 24-48 hours to propagate through the system to our database. If you do not need to use the restricted tools, you can usually wait a day or two and your name will show up on our rolls. If you need to have immediate access to the message board, submit tool, or restricted web pages, you can ask your instructor to add you to the WolfWare roll as an "Extra." You will immediately have the same access to the tools as if you were on the official rolls. The system will automatically remove your "Extra" status when the updated roll comes in showing that you are in fact enrolled in the class.
