Full Solution:

Problem: Where do I place audio, video, and other media files in a WolfWare course locker? Solution: The directory set up by WolfWare to hold media is in the course locker, not the section locker: /afs/eos/courses/xxx/xxxyyy/common/www/media/ e.g., /afs/eos/courses/csc/csc200/common/www/media/ The URL is http://courses.ncsu.edu/xxxyyy/common/media/file.au e.g., http://courses.ncsu.edu/csc200/common/media/file.au The intent is that media files (often large) should be shared among sections when possible. However, if you are using special realmedia services, such as streaming audio or video, you need a special URL to access them, http://realaudio.ncsu.edu/ramgen/wolfware/xxxyyy/common/media/file.r e.g., http://realaudio.ncsu.edu/ramgen/wolfware/csc200/common/media/file.ra The "ramgen" part of the URL is a cgi program that converts .ra files to .ram files on the fly. For more information on WolfWare, see http://wolfware.ncsu.edu/help/ and http://courses.ncsu.edu/
