People: Shawn Colvin

Biographical Info

Shawn Colvin joined the NC State University Digital Education and Learning Technology Applications (DELTA) team in 2008. In his role with DELTA, Shawn serves as Classroom Services Manager where he manages a team of classroom support technicians that provide instructional technology support for distance education academic programs in DELTA’s media-enhanced classrooms throughout campus. Shawn received his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Winston-Salem State University and his master’s degree in Liberal Studies from North Carolina State University. Notable achievements include completion of the Educause Institute Management Program, Compass Power Learner, Pathways Leadership Development Program and SMART Certified Education Trainer.
